Corey “ChurmZ” Koch joined WVU Esports as a Valorant coach in April 2023. Since joining WVU, the Mountaineers were NACE Starleague semifinalists.

Koch, a 2019 WVU graduate, comes to West Virginia after playing Valorant professionally for Charlotte Phoenix, Rise and Cosmic Divide.
